Description:

Trigyn Technologies is hiring a remote Data Warehouse Specialist for a 4-to-6-month contract engagement. The role centers on supporting data warehousing, data management, and data modeling architectures, with a specific focus on integrating HR business information from multiple disparate legacy systems (including IMIS-Sybase and PeopleSoft-Oracle). You will build and optimize ETL components, manage production databases, configure automated backup strategies, and identify structural performance anomalies to tune complex query pipelines.

Requirements:

• A university degree or Diploma (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, IT, or a related field. Professional experience can be accepted in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Production SQL Server administration, including database architecture optimization and storage configurations.
• Practical experience designing, building, and debugging Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages. Familiarity with Informatica is highly desired.
• Mastery writing advanced SQL blocks, stored procedures, triggers, views, relational constraints, and database functions across both Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle SQL database layers.
• Proven technical ability to investigate database performance anomalies, track execution plans, identify processing bottlenecks, and tune complex SQL structures.
• Script and automate administrative notifications for server resource usage and performance tracking. Design and automate database backup and rollback strategies.
• Experience integrating information from multiple sources (such as IMIS-Sybase and PeopleSoft-Oracle) to satisfy enterprise data-driven business needs.
• Strong organization and communication skills. Must be a self-starter comfortable resolving ambiguity and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation.
